Manne Taos Custom Electric Guitar 2004 Hand made in Italy One Of a Kind in Brockley, Somerset for sale

Back in 2004 i commissioned a guitar by Italian Luthier Andrea Ballarin of Manne Guitars, Italy. He made me the beautiful guitar pictured above. I am in theunfortunate position whereby i am forced to sell this work of art. For those of you who happened to know my old band ‘Burn’, this guitar will be quite familiar, but for others... I used this guitar exclusively during those days and as a result it has seem a lot of action. It can be heard as the lead guitaron the Album ‘Through The Wall’ and was played live extensively around Devon between 2004 and 2006/7 until i moved away. The guitar you see is a one off. Not another of this particular specification exists. Details are as follows: · Alder Body with Flame Maple cap · 25”Scale Length · Phenolic Fingerboard · Jumbofrets · Manne Humbuckers and Single Coil · PushPull Kill Switch on Volume Pot · PushPull Coil Tap on Tone Pot · 24 Frets with Silver thread “Nebula” Inlay · Last 5 frets scalloped Finished in Cherry Sunburst. · Padded Manne Gig Bag The Guitar has a goodfew scrapes and knocks, but what can you expect from a guitar that has seen so much use...? It plays beautifully and sounds fantastic and there is still good life left in the frets. I’ve upgraded thestck “no-name” Floyd to an original Floyd Rose Pro – which stays in tune PERFECTLY and i’ve matched the gold tremolo unit with Gold Gotoh tuners. I will include the old black Manne tuners with the sale, as well as 2 trem arms. 1 gold and one black. I’ve upgraded the pickup surrounds from the plastic black ones to gold (metal). I’ve also changed the pickup cover for the centre pickup to white as i thought it looked quite nice!
